Clic'Logo

The Centre des Logopédistes Indépendants de Genève (CLIGe) brings together professionals committed to the diagnosis and management of language disorders. In order to respond to a growing demand and to facilitate the connection between patients and speech therapists, the association has decided to develop a centralised digital platform. This solution was intended to allow patients to submit detailed consultation requests, which the speech therapist members could then analyse, monitor, and address. CLIGe enlisted MobileThinking to design, develop, and launch this bespoke, reliable, and intuitive tool, named Clic’Logo.

Clic'Logo – CLIGe

The Independent Speech Therapists Centre of Geneva (CLIGe) intended to create a platform that would allow patients to request a consultation by completing a very comprehensive form, which notably enables them to indicate all known symptoms. These requests were then to be managed, monitored, and processed by a speech therapist registered on the platform (a member of the association).

How MobileThinking responded to this request
To address this need, we first guided the client on the essential features for their application, in order to define with them what the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) would contain. Following this, we developed a platform that met the previously defined needs, utilising all current best practices and technologies, to ensure end-users have a fast, simple, and secure experience.

Perspectives & technical aspects

From a design perspective

The CLIGe having clearly expressed its needs, our role in the design phase primarily consisted of defining the essential features in order to propose a functional product that meets their requirements, while avoiding non-essential features to adhere to the established budget. We also developed graphical mock-ups to illustrate and continue shaping the final product more concretely. Thanks to these mock-ups, we were able to speak the same "language" as the members of the CLIGe and ensure that the discussed features perfectly matched their expectations.

From a technical perspective

For development, we used Inertia.js, which allowed us to adopt a monolithic architecture that provides a time-saving advantage in development (and consequently cost as well), but without page reloads, giving the user the same sensation of speed as a single-page application. The technologies we chose are PHP 8 – Laravel 9 for the backend, and Vue.js 3 with Composition API – Tailwind for the frontend.

And what next?

A year after its launch, Clic’Logo is enjoying considerable success, receiving over a thousand consultation requests. New features are being gradually added to facilitate the management of requests to speech therapists.
